HOMER GLEN
DUI ARREST: Michelle Garfias, 21, 14022 Hileath Court, Orland Park, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, not reducing speed to avoid an accident and improper lane use after a Dec. 27 accident in the 12000 block of 143rd Street, police said.
SLASHED TIRES: Tires were slashed on two vehicles Dec. 27 in the 13000 block of Kickapoo Trail.
NO LICENSE: Hayat Abouelkheir, 29, 14739 Arboretum Drive, Homer Glen, was charged with driving on a revoked license after a Dec. 27 stop at 151st Street and Arboretum Drive, police said.
DUI CHARGE: Robert J. Bujwit, 57, 14628 Arboretum Drive, Homer Glen, was charged with drunken driving, no insurance and not slowing down to avoid an accident after a Dec. 28 accident at 143rd Street and Parker Road, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: A microwave, stove, dishwasher, oven and thermostat were stolen Dec. 29 from a house in the 13000 block of Kickapoo Trail.
DAMAGED DOOR: A door of a building in the 14000 block of Cedar Road was kicked in Dec. 29.
VANDALISM: Tires were slashed and paint was scratched Dec. 29 on a vehicle in the 13000 block of Kickapoo Trail.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Marcin Dziubek, 23, 12001 S. 70th Court, Palos Heights, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and no registration after a Jan. 3 stop at Bruce and Cedar roads, police said.
DRUG CHARGE: Michelle L. Towery, 19, 16004 Ridgewood Drive, Homer Glen, was charged with possession of a controlled substance Jan. 7 in the 15800 block of Bell Road, police said.
VEHICLE BURGLARIES: Items were stolen Jan. 8 from two vehicles parked in the 13000 block of Dublin Drive, one in the 13000 block of Tara Drive and one in the 13000 block of Meath Drive.
ORLAND PARK
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Matthew Lang, 34, of St. Charles, was charged with domestic battery after a Dec. 11 incident in the 15600 block of Violet Court, police said.
DUI ARREST: Ashley Ice, 23, of Romeoville, was charged with drunken driving, driving on the wrong side of the road and improper lane use after a Dec. 11 stop in the 17000 block of LaGrange Road, police said.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Michelle Skonesey, 45, 20054 Pine Grove Court, Mokena, was charged with disorderly conduct after she became angry and threw a clipboard and a book Dec. 15 inside the waiting room of Footsteps Podiatry, 15174 LaGrange Road, police said.
FORGERY: Tanya Roberson, 31, of Houston, was charged with forgery after using a fraudulent credit card to purchase two iPads, a cell phone headset and a laptop computer Dec. 17 at Best Buy, 15854 LaGrange Road, police said. They said Elizabeth Taylor, 37, of Pearland, Texas, was charged with theft in the incident.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Hasan Hannoun, 51, 10809 Royal Glen Drive, Orland Park, was charged with domestic battery after a Dec. 17 disturbance on his block, police said.
THEFT: A 28-year-old man told police someone stole his Apple iPhone Dec. 19 while he was donating blood for the Red Cross at a drive sponsored by Ally Financial, 15303 94th Ave.
WARRANT ARREST: John Greene, 52, 2413 Canal St., Blue Island, was arrested on an Orland Park warrant for driving on a revoked license a Dec. 21 stop outside Walmart in Orland Hills, police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Kaylyn Rios, 21, 8218 Loomis Blvd., Chicago, was charged with retail theft after stealing several pairs of jeans and women’s tops Dec. 22 from JC Penney at Orland Square Mall, police said.
DUI CASE: Scott Reynolds, 44, 10057 151st St., Orland Park, was charged with drunken driving and running a stop sign after a Dec. 23 stop on Orland Square Drive, police said.
DUI CHARGE: Alexis Lee, 32, 13722 Tallgrass Trail, Orland Park, was charged with drunken driving, improper lane use, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and no insurance after a Dec. 24 accident in the 14000 block of Catherine Drive, police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Mohammed Abukhamireh, 36, 15354 Treetop Drive, 1A, Orland Park, was charged with domestic battery after an altercation Dec. 24 at his home, police said.
DUI ALLEGED: Mark Grady, 24, was charged with drunken driving, no rear plate light and and improper display of license plates after a stop Dec. 24 in the 9500 block of 171st Street, police said. They said his brother Edward Grady, 30, of Ahauarita, Ariz., was charged with disorderly conduct after he came to the scene and began screaming at police officers.
DUI ARREST: John Villanueva, 41, 5521 Kolmar Ave., Chicago, was charged with drunken driving, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and making an improper turn after being stopped Dec. 24 on 159th Street, police said.
POT POSSESSION: Martin Pawlak, 22, 13585 88th Ave., Orland Park, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a Dec. 26 stop in the 15100 block of Ravinia Avenue, police said.
DRUG ARREST: Eduardo Barrera, 31, 5620 S. Meade Ave., Chicago, was charged with possession of heroin and retail theft after attempting to steal DVDs Dec. 28 from Jewel-Osco, 9350 159th St., police said.
EMPLOYEE THEFT: Kyle Howard, 24, 12864 Pebble Drive, Palos Park, was charged with theft Dec. 30 after he stole money from the cash register at Fetch Dog Boutique, 207 Orland Park Place, where he worked as a dog washer, police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Inela Ahmetspahic, 26, 1954 Crescent Drive, Mokena, was charged with retail theft after stealing merchandise Dec. 30 from the Express, Forever 21, Icing and H&M stores at Orland Square Mall, police said.
HIT-AND-RUN: Shane Isaacs, 35, of New Carlisle, Ohio, was charged with hit-and-run, reckless driving, having expired registration and no insurance after crashing Dec. 31 into a fence at White Mountain Pro Shop, 9901 179th St., and causing damage to a golf green, police said.
