‘Kindermusik’ to get chamber welcome

Kindermusik with Laura, a music and movement program for young children, has opened in Music Way, 14273 S. Wolf Road, Orland Park. The Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce will take part in a ribbon cutting ceremony at Kindermusik starting at 11:45 a.m. Feb. 15.

Kindermusik director Laura Bush teaches voice and piano and has 20 years of experience in early childhood education. The Kindermusik program is designed for children ages birth to 7.

Small-business loan workshop at library

The Park Forest Public Library will sponsor a four-part workshop titled “All Loans — Stepping Stones to Financing Small Businesses.” The first session will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, with subsequent sessions taking place Feb. 14, 21 and 28.

The workshop series is being presented by SCORE. Wilbur Pelt, of Matrix Equity, will conduct the sessions. Attendees should bring writing materials and a calculator, but computers and other electronic devices are not allowed.
