Orland Park is seeking bids for the renovation of two village parks and the construction of a third.
The village wants to replace the rubber surface and equipment at the Kevin Hertz playground at Centennial Park, 15600 West Ave., at a cost of $220,000. At Sunny Pine Park, 13701 S. 88th Ave., the village is seeking bids not to exceed $175,000 to replace playground equipment.
Orland is also soliciting proposals for a new, 3.7-acre park in the Colette Highlands subdivision, northeast of 159th Street and 108th Avenue.
The park, proposed for Scotsglen Road and Park Station Boulevard, would cost no more than $215,000, according to the village.
Contracts for the park projects are expected to be awarded this spring.
