Orland Park police said Thursday they’ve charged a former employee of a dentist office in the village with breaking into the business earlier this month and taking dental supplies.

Kristy Maczko, 33, of Tinley Park, was charged with one count of felony burglary stemming from the Feb. 4 break-in at the dental office, in the 14600 block of John Humphrey Drive, according to a news release issued by Orland Park police. Along with dental supplies, a small amount of cash was taken in the break-in, police said.

Police declined to say what type of supplies were taken, but said no drugs were removed from the office.

Police said Maczko was fired from the dental office in October.

Maczko is free on bond and has a March 6 court date in Bridgeview.
