Orland chamber holds membership drive

The Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its ‘March Membership Madness’ membership drive event from 5 to 7 p.m. March 22 at Silver Lake Country Club, 14700 S. 82nd Ave., Orland Park.

The cost is $7 for chamber members, but if they bring along a prospective new member they’ll receive free admission, along with their guest. During March, the chamber is offering a $50 discount to new members. The annual membership drive adopted the March Madness basketball theme a few years ago, according to Keloryn Putnam, the chamber’s executive director.

AT&T award goes to industrial group

AT&T Illinois recently presented the Bedford Park-Clearing Industrial Association with an AT&T Investing in Illinois Award. The $2,500 award recognizes the group for its civic and business efforts.

The Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce will hold a business after hours from 5 to 7 p.m. March 8 at American Chartered Bank, 9561 171st St., Tinley Park.
