There are so many local events to enjoy. It’s hot outside, so let’s cool off.
Centennial Park Aquatic Center and the Orland Park Public Library are co-sponsoring “Reading Fun” from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Aug. 7. Children through fourth grade and a parent or adult caregiver are invited to dive into cool stories at the Aquatic Center, 15600 West Ave. Attendees must have a pool pass or pay to enter.
Also, check the village website (www.orland-park.il.us) for special events at the pool, including late-night swims, the snorkel treasure hunt, guards vs. you competition, and a luau.
Consider a membership so you don’t miss any of the fun.
