PALOS PARK
MVCC photog to host photography class
Palos Park Public Library, 12330 Forest Glen Blvd., will host a digital camera class at 2 p.m. Saturday. Moraine Valley Community College staff photographer Glenn Carpenter will teach students how to get the most out of their digital camera.
Participants should bring a camera, an instruction manual and a full set of batteries. Registration is required.

MONEE
Forest preserve to offer ‘Kayaking Kollege’
The Forest Preserve District of Will County will host a kayaking workshop titled “Kayak Kollege” for those age 12 and older at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday at Monee Reservoir, 27341 S. Ridgeland Ave.
All equipment will be provided, including life jackets. Participants can bring their own kayaks. Children ages 12 to 17 must be accompanied by a registered adult. The workshop costs $20, and registration is required.

ORLAND TOWNSHIP
Senior dept. to host trip to Italian Fest
The Orland Township Senior Services department will host a trip to Festa Italiana in Milwaukee, Wis. on Thursday and Friday.
The trip will depart from the parking lot next to Bank Financial on the northwest corner of 151st Street and 94th Avenue in Orland Park.
The trip includes a two-day stay at the Radisson Milwaukee North Shore.
