‘Touchless’ tire changing in Orland

Howey Industries in Orland Park said it has recently introduced “touchless” tire changing, marketed to owners of cars equipped with high-end wheels. Owner Paul Howey said that traditional tire-changing methods can leave scratches on expensive wheels.

Howey Industries also specializes in the sales and installation of high-end custom wheels.

Breakfast with the chamber Wed.

The Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce will host a breakfast for new and prospective members at 8 a.m. Wednesday at Jason’s Deli, 6260 W. 95th St.

There is no charge for new or prospective members, but current members are asked to contribute $5 to help defray costs. For information, call the chamber at (708) 424-8300.

After-hours event at St. Xavier Thursday

The Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce will hold a business after hours event from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Xavier University, 3700 W. 103rd St., Chicago.
