Orland Park recently hosted its annual Great Pumpkin Party at the Centennial Park Warming House.
“The village’s Pumpkin Party was well-received and attended by many families,” Orland Park Mayor Dan McLaughlin said. “To continue to improve our events, we are asking people to give their input on what they would like to see or do at events like this.”
Those who attended the Great Pumpkin Party can visit the “We Want to Know” area of the village’s website, www.orland-park.il.us, to share their thoughts and suggestions via an online survey.
“We hope people will visit the village’s website to let us know which Pumpkin Party activities they enjoyed,” said Trustee Pat Gira, chair of the village’s Recreation and Parks Committee. “This is a great opportunity to let the village know if we’re on track and to share ideas for next year’s event.”
The survey asks respondents to rate the importance of the various activities, on their decision to attend the event and how they heard about the party. It also includes questions about the quality of specific activities and concessions, and what types of activities residents would like to see included in the future.
Respondents will be entered to win a fall treat basket that includes a one-month Sportsplex membership, two Marcus Theater tickets and more.
The survey will be available through Nov. 18.
