Steel retirees to meet
The Republic Steel Retirees will meet on Thursday at Steve’s Lounge, 13200 S. Baltimore Ave., Chicago. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m.
The cost is $15 for members and $18 for guests.

BEECHER
Nature center to host yoga program
The Forest Preserve District of Will County will offer its Candlelight Yoga program ages 15 and older at 7 p.m. Friday at Plum Creek Nature Center, 27064 S. Dutton Road, Beecher.
Participants will learn how yoga builds strength, increases flexibility and improves balance, organizers said.
Participants should wear loose-fitting clothing and bring a mat or a beach towel. The program involves kneeling on the floor for short periods of time.
The cost is $12 per person, and registration is required.

MOKENA
Library to host Christmas carolers
Mokena Public Library, 11327 W. 195th St., will host the Canterbury Carollers from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday.
The Victorian-style ensemble will perform traditional carols written before 1870. Registration is required.
