Firm’s toy drive surpasses goal

Kurland Insurance Agency in Orland Park said its recent toy drive for the United States Marines’ “Toys for Tots” Foundation garnered 952 toys, exceeding the company’s goal of collecting 750 toys.

Bimba wins engineering award
University Park-based Bimba Manufacturing said it has been named the winner of the 2012 Leadership in Engineering Award in the fluid power category by Design World magazine. The company is a provider of pneumatic, hydraulic and electric actuators, valves, fittings and other products.
Cusack Insurance adds agent
Cusack Insurance Agency in Oak Lawn said it has added Glen Kato as a full-time property and casualty insurance agent. He had served as a part-time licensed agent since 2010.
