The Lockport Township High School Physical Education Department once again is making big changes for the district’s Special Games participants.
In just one day, physical education students raised $2,057 to benefit the Special Games.
The Spare Change to Make a Big Change fundraiser was a tremendous success, according to PE department chair Todd Elkei.
“Our entire PE staff is overwhelmed by the generosity, participation and excitement of our students,” he said.
“I am very proud and want to give a special thank-you from the Special Games students and the LTHS PE Department.”
An assembly to honor the Special Games participants took place on March 1.
