HOMER GLEN

ACCIDENT CHARGES: Michael McGhee, 34, 16225 Leach Drive, Homer Glen, was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane use after he lost control of his vehicle on a curve and struck a tree March 15 at Bruce and Cedar roads, police said. They said he was extricated from his vehicle by firefighters and taken to Silver Cross Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

DUI ARREST: Szymon Sztoncel, 29, 12920 W. 159th St., Homer Glen, was charged with drunken driving and illegal parking after police found him parked in the roadway March 17 in the 12000 block of 159th Street, police said.

ORLAND PARK

DUI ARREST: Kathleen Hensley, 49, 8183 Tripp Ave., Chicago, was charged with drunken driving, improper lane use, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and no insurance after driving onto a lawn Feb. 22 in the 13500 block of Howe Drive and becoming stuck, police said.

TRESPASSING: Antoine McNeal, 19, 15220 6th Ave., Phoenix, was charged with criminal trespass to a vehicle, illegal possession of alcohol by a minor and underage drinking after he passed out in a car Feb. 23 in the parking lot of Dave & Busters, 49 Orland Square Drive, police said.

HIT-AND-RUN: Najee Heard, 18, 16872 Trapet Ave., Hazel Crest, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, resisting police, driving without a valid license, running a red light and no insurance after a hit-and-run crash Feb. 24 in the 9300 block of 159th Street, police said. They said his friend, Jared Neal, 23, 16743 Trapet Ave., Hazel Crest, was charged with obstructing justice for lying to police following the accident.

RETAIL THEFT: Malek Saleh, 19, of Chicago Heights, was charged with retail theft after stealing $286 worth of merchandise Feb. 25 from Macy’s at Orland Square Mall, police said.

DRUG ARREST: Brandon Winchel, 21, 17448 Harvest Hill Drive, Orland Park, was charged with illegal possession of prescription drugs and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a Feb. 26 stop in the 200 block of Orland Square Drive, police said. They said Conor McCormick, 22, 15438 Raintree Drive, Orland Park, also was charged with illegal possession of prescription drugs.

DUI CHARGE: Valecia Gill, 50, 9202 Hunter Drive, 201, Orland Hills, was charged with drunken driving and making an improper turn Feb. 27 after a stop in the 14900 block of LaGrange Road, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Jakub Zaucha, 20, 12503 Manor Drive, Homer Glen, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and no front license plate after being stopped Feb. 27 in the 10900 block of 153rd Street, police said.

DUI CASE: Robert Rodriguez, 20, 11032 Mason Ave., Chicago Ridge, was charged with drunken driving, running a red light and no insurance after a stop Feb. 27 in the 9400 block of Orland Square Drive, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Wojtek Oszal, 34, 11423 Marley Creek Lane, Orland Park, was charged with domestic battery and criminal damage to property after a Feb. 27 incident and his residence, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Shamar Wright, 41, 14514 Cottage Grove Ave., Dolton, was charged with retail theft after stealing more than $300 worth of jewelry Feb. 28 from Sears at Orland Square Mall, police said.

MARIJUANA CHARGE: Vargas Calixto, 23, 15660 Sunset Ridge Drive, Orland Park, was charged with possession of marijuana after being questioned Feb. 28 at his home, police said.

DUI ALLEGED: Amy Zvonik, 35, of Hinsdale, was charged with drunken driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a valid license and impeding traffic after she fell asleep in her stopped car March 2 on LaGrange Road near 156th Street, police said.

DUI ARREST: Perry Green, 33, 8127 S. Crandon Ave., Chicago, was charged with drunken driving, no insurance and speeding after he was stopped March 3 in the 8400 block of 159th Street, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Monique Oliveras, 26, 14308 Kimbark Ave., Dolton, was charged with retail theft after stealing $226 worth of goods March 4 from Sephora USA at Orland Square Mall, police said.
