Homer Glen, Orland Park police blotter

HOMER GLEN

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Stasys Martinkus, 54, 14441 Birchdale Drive, Homer Glen, was charged with disorderly conduct after falling down Sept. 4 in the 14000 block of Elizabeth Lane while intoxicated and injuring himself, police said. They said he was not seriously hurt but was uncooperative with police when they tried to have him taken to a hospital.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: An Xbox game system, 25 video games and a backpack were stolen Sept. 8 from a vehicle in the 14000 block of Innisbrook Lane.

DUI ARREST: Anthony Morales, 52, 7932 S. 82nd St., Justice, was charged with drunken driving and no insurance after a stop Sept. 8 at 143rd Street and Bell Road, police said.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Someone tried to break into Jiffy Lube, 12554 W. 159th St., on Sept. 9 and damaged the rear window of the business but was unable to gain entry.

BURGLARY: Cash was stolen Sept. 9 from the office area of Chesdan’s Pizza, 15764 Bell Road, after the entrance door was forced open.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Vojislav Stevanovic, 19, 14326 Creme Road, Homer Glen, was charged with driving on a suspended license after being stopped Sept. 9 at Bell Road and Martingale Lane, police said.

ORLAND PARK

RETAIL THEFT: Alie Mansour, 54, 9118 Lunar Ave., #203, Orland Park, was charged with theft after stealing merchandise Aug. 29 from Carson’s at Orland Square Mall, police said.

WEAPONS CHARGE: Derrick Ravis, 26, of Tempe, Ariz., was charged with unlawful use of a weapon after police found a blackjack in his car during a Sept. 4 search in the parking lot of Orland Square Mall, police said.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: James Grieco, 55, 10851 143rd St., Orland Park, was charged with disorderly conduct after a Sept. 4 domestic incident outside a home in the 15700 block of Orlan Brook Drive, police said.

DUI ARREST: Brandon Bonko, 30, 13306 Oak Ridge Lane, Homer Glen, was charged with drunken driving, speeding, no insurance and improper display of license plates after a Sept. 5 stop in the 11900 block of 143rd Street, police said.

BATTERY: Marcus Taylor, 26, 14511 University Ave., Dolton, was charged with battery and reckless driving after speeding through the parking lot Sept. 5 at Lowe’s, 15601 LaGrange Road, and nearly striking a couple, police said. They said the husband yelled at Taylor, who turned his car around, screamed at the couple and spit on the wife.

RETAIL THEFT: Adriana Carrillo, 40, of Sunny Isle, Fla., and Urajohan Pagan, 43, of Hanover Park, were charged with retail theft after stealing several hundred dollars in women’s clothing Sept. 9 from Express in Orland Square Mall, police said. They said Pagan was also charged with possessing a theft detection shield and obstructing identification.

POT POSSESSION: Guy Woolridge, 24, 13615 Central Park Ave., Robbins, was charged with possession of marijuana and not wearing a seat belt after a stop Sept. 11 in the 15400 block of LaGrange Road, police said.

DUI CASE: Mauro Disabato, 38, 17121 Cambridge Place, Tinley Park, was charged with drunken driving, speeding in a construction zone and no insurance after being stopped Sept. 13 in the 16900 block of LaGrange Road, police said.

DUI CHARGE: Daniell Newbauer, 25, 19123 Weber Road, Mokena, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and unlawful stopping in a roadway Sept. 14 after a stop in the 11900 block of Brookshire Drive, police said.
