Lockport library branch to host JFK presentation

The White Oak Library District will host “Remembering JFK” from 2 to 3 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Lockport Branch Library, 121 E. Eighth St.
The event will take place in second-floor meeting rooms A and B.
Historian Jim Gibbons’ presentation will mark the 50th anniversary of Kennedy’s assassination. The focus of the program will be the events in November 1963 and the controversy surrounding them. A question-and-answer session will follow.
The program is part of the library’s Open House week to celebrate the newly remodeled library building. Registration is preferred, but walk-ins will be accepted.
