The Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation is holding its annual Holiday Toy Drive.

The nonprofit provides comfort and distraction from painful procedures to children and teens diagnosed with cancer by providing a toy, gift or gift card in 45 hospitals nationwide, according to the foundation.

Unwrapped new toys or gifts may be dropped off until Dec. 20 at the foundation, 15430 S. 70th Court, Orland Park; Pigtails and Crewcuts, 14225 S. 95th Ave., Suite 414, Orland Park; all Orland Park fire departments; Massage Envy, 15159 S. LaGrange Road, Orland Park; and Dave & Buster’s, 49 Orland Square Drive, Orland Park.

Colleen Kisel, CEO and founder of the organization, said, “The toys we collect during this Holiday Toy Drive will enable us to continue providing smiles of joy to more than 8,600 children and teens monthly who are battling cancer across the nation.”
