Lockport library hosts seed exchange program

The White Oak Library District will host a seed exchange program from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Lockport Branch Library, 121 E. Eighth St. The exchange will be in second-floor meeting rooms A and B.

Adult participants may bring vegetable, flower and herb seeds with labels to exchange with others and may take whatever seeds they need, free of charge.

Two documentaries will be shown, and information about seed saving, permaculture, genetically modified organisms, and backyard chickens will be available.
