Seventh-grade research and communications classes from Orland Junior High School recently took a walking field trip to the Orland Park Public Library.

Media Center specialist Amanda Kuzminski worked with teachers and librarians in arranging the visit, which included a tour of the youth and teen sections, databases, research stations and study rooms.

“Many of our kids do not realize the vast amount of resources available to them at the Orland Park Library,” Kuzminski said.

“Since Orland Junior High is located within easy walking distance, we thought a trip there would be a great way to introduce students to their outstanding facilities and staff.”
