Haan signs letter of intent

Chicago Christian senior Celaine Haan, of Homer Glen signed a National Letter of Intent to play volleyball at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. Celaine will pursue a major in agriculture, and a minor in environmental science. The daughter of Larry and Lou Ann Haan, Celaine was a standout libero and three-year varsity starter for the Knights. Celaine is a two-time All-Suburban Christian Conference selection. She also holds school records in career digs (1,370) and career service receptions (1,758).
In addition to her personal success, the teams that she has been a part of have had great success in the IHSA Class 2A State Tournament. During her time with the Knights, Celaine’s teams won the state championship in 2010 and finished second in the state in 2009 and 2011, while winning the State Championship in 2010.
