BASEBALL
Mokena: The White Sox Hit Club, a skills series for ages 6 to 11 run by the Mokena Park District, runs from Monday to Feb. 6 at Mokena Elementary School’s central gym. FOOTBALL
Southland: Bo Jackson Elite Sports, 17130 S. Prime Blvd,, Lockport, is offering new 7-on-7 instructional football leagues. The program runs on Sundays for seven weeks and is split into two divisions of fifth- and sixth-graders and seventh- and eighth-graders. The first session is from Jan. 22 to March 11, and the second session runs April 15 to May 28. The format is 30 minutes of speed and agility training, 30 minutes of position-specific offense, 30 minutes of position-specific defense, and a 60-minute 7-on-7 game.
