Orland hosts property tax appeal seminar

Orland Park will host a free one-hour seminar to inform taxpayers how to appeal their property taxes starting at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Orland Park Civic Center, 14750 S. Ravinia Ave.
Analysts from the Cook County Board of Review will be on hand to answer specific questions about tax bills and explain how to appeal them. Taxpayers who attend should bring their most recent property tax bills.
Small-business counseling available
Counselors from SCORE will offer free counseling to small-business owners from 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 18 at the offices of the Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce, 17316 S. Oak Park Ave.

Orientation for new chamber members
The Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce will host an orientation for new and prospective members from 7:45 to 9 a.m. Jan. 26 at Smith Crossing, 10501 Emilie Lane, Orland Park.
Chamber board members will be available to discuss chamber events and programs, and a light breakfast will be served.
