The Crisis Center for South Suburbia recently presented the Corporate Recognition Award to Helen Socha and Tom Bugielski of PrivateBank during the center’s annual Heart to Heart Dinner-Dance.
The award, which began in 2009, is presented annually to a business or corporation that has provided support for the Crisis Center.
“Over the years, Tom and Helen have worked tirelessly on various fundraising committees, consistently contributing to silent auctions and other event activities, encouraging PrivateBank staff to volunteer for the Crisis Center, and ensuring financial support totaling more than $60,000 over the years,” said Crisis Center executive director Edward Vega Sr. “We are extremely grateful to Tom and Helen and to their financial institutions for their support.
“The Crisis Center is so very fortunate to have the support of these two individuals who are so committed to our mission. Their steadfast support provides us with confidence as we continue our journey to assist victims of domestic violence.”
The Crisis Center for South Suburbia provides emergency shelter and other services for individuals and families victimized by domestic violence.
The Crisis Center also addresses the societal issues that contribute to domestic violence.
