Planned work at Tinley Park’s 80th Avenue Metra train station that could have made for a noisy Friday night has been postponed.
Village officials said Tuesday in a news release that pile-driving planned from 11 p.m. Friday to 11 a.m. Saturday and again from 11 p.m. July 6 to 11 a.m. July 7 will be delayed one to three weeks by “construction issues.”
Delays are in the fabrication process for the precast pedestrian tunnel, the release said.
