Chamber members’ need for speed

Members of the Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce will take part in a speed networking business luncheon starting at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 15 at Gaelic Park, 6119 W. 147th St., Oak Forest.

The cost is $25 for chamber members and $35 for nonmembers.

Providence Bank gets top rating

Providence Bank said that for the sixth consecutive quarter it has received a five-star rating from Bauer Financial, which routinely analyzes the performance of U.S. banks and credit unions. Five stars represents Bauer’s top rating.

Headquartered in South Holland, Providence has locations in Elmhurst, Frankfort, Wheaton and two in northwest Indiana.

ITW boosts dividend 6 percent

Illinois Tool Works Inc. said Friday it has approved a 6 percent increase in its quarterly dividend. The dividend of 38 cents per share will be paid on Oct. 10 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 28.

The specialty equipment maker has plants locally in Frankfort, Mokena, Richton Park and Tinley Park.
