Here is a look at what some Southland students are accomplishing in college, including news from Frankfort, Lockport, Oak Forest, Homer Glen, Tinley Park and New Lenox.
Central College
Jessica Baker and Zachary Miller, both of New Lenox, have each been named to the spring 2012 dean’s list at Central College in Pella, Iowa.
Clarkson University
Simon Rock, of Tinley Park, has recieved a master’s degree from Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y.
Benedictine University
Andrew Malone, of Lockport; Kara Walsh, of Oak Forest; and Mary Ryan, of Homer Glen; have each been named to the spring 2012 semester dean’s list at Benedictine University in Lisle, Ill.
Emory University
Erika Rees, of Tinley Park, has received a master’s degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Ga.
Adams State University
Amanda Fitton, of Homer Glen, has received a bachelor’s degree from Adams State University in Alamosa, Colo.
Bethel University
Nicole Bosi, of Frankfort, has received a bachelor’s degree from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minn.
