BASEBALL
Orland Hills: The Orland Hills Wolves will hold tryouts for its 10U full-time travel team from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 15 and 16 at Ridgegate Park, 17001 S. 94th Ave. Interested players need to only attend one tryout. CHEERLEADING
New Lenox: Providence Catholic High School’s varsity cheerleading will host a clinic for kids in kindergarten to eighth grade from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. on Columbus Day, Oct. 6. GOLF
Southland: The South Suburban College baseball team is hosting the fourth annual Bulldog Baseball Golf Outing on Friday at Glenwoodie Golf Course, 193rd and State Street, Glenwood. Midlothian: The second annual St. Christopher 5K Walk-Run will start at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 13, on a course winding through Midlothian and Crestwood. Proceeds benefit St. Christopher School.
