U.S. Rep. Dan Lipinski (D-3rd) recently honored the 2012 winners of the Senior Citizen of the Year Award during an awards luncheon in Countryside.
The winners were chosen based on their dedication to volunteerism and civic involvement in the local communities that make up the Third Congressional District.
Honorees included Lawrence Wyllie, of New Lenox; Paul O. Weber, Denny Conway, Bob Orlow and Delores Dupree, all of Chicago; and Marge Weiner, of Tinley Park.
Other honorees included Gary Niehaus, of Lockport; Harron Beene, of Summit; Donald E. Cramer, of Burbank; Carol Stefan, of Palos Heights; Patricia Cossin, of Bridgeview; and the Rev. Glenn Bergmark, of Lemont.
