TINLEY PARK
THEFT: Approximately 10,000 pounds of scrap metal was stolen between Feb. 11 and 15 from a bin behind a business in the 8200 block of 183rd Street. An additional 3,000 pounds of scrap was stolen Feb. 16 or 17.
POT POSSESSION: Khalid Williams, 18, of Calumet City, was charged with possession of marijuana Feb. 14 after he was stopped at 168th Street and Harlem Avenue, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Gakahna Jackson, 29, 4142 W. 168th Place, Country Club Hills, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance after a stop Feb. 14 in the 7000 block of 183rd Street, police said.
DRUG ARREST: Mark A. Sherman, 30, 6607 W. 175th St., Tinley Park, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia after a Feb. 15 stop at 172nd Street and Oak Park Avenue, police said.
THEFT: Three copper bars valued at $180 were stolen Feb. 15 from property adjacent to the Tinley Park Fire Department training tower, 7750 W. 183rd St.
RETAIL THEFT: Michelle Bottari, 47, 19418 Everett Lane, Mokena, was charged with retail theft Feb. 15 after stealing merchandise from Kohl’s, 7500 W. 191st St., police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: India Miller, 26, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and improper lighting after being stopped Feb. 15 in the 7100 block of 159th Street, police said.
DUI ARREST: Matthew Marzilli, 23, 15573 Duncan Road, Oak Forest, was charged with drunken driving, not wearing a seat belt and disobeying a traffic signal Feb. 15 after a stop at 173rd Place and Oak Park Avenue, police said.
DUI ALLEGED: Aaron Ozment, 22, 9329 Lockwood Place, Tinley Park, was charged with drunken driving, no insurance and leaving the scene of an accident after a Feb. 15 stop on his block, police said.
THEFT: An air conditioner was stolen Feb. 15 or 16 from Gattone Dental Care, 6700 W. 167th St.
LICENSE SUSPENDED: Kevin Bogovich Sr., 45, 8300 W. 170th St., Tinley Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance after a stop Feb. 16 at 183rd Street and Harlem Avenue, police said. They said he also was arrested on a Cook County warrant for a child support violation.
MARIJUANA ARREST: Richard Kotara, 19, 7626 Dorothy Lane, Tinley Park, was charged with possession of marijuana Feb. 16 following a stop at 163rd Street and 80th Avenue, police said.
REVOKED LICENSE: Eric R. Doran, 30, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a revoked license after he was stopped Feb. 16 at 183rd Street and Harlem Avenue, police said.
LICENSE SUSPENDED: Lakeisha Wilkins, 24, of Lansing, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance after a Feb. 16 stop at 159th Street and 76th Avenue, police said.
POT POSSESSION: Emmet P. Duffy, 22, of Oak Park, was charged with possession of marijuana Feb. 16 at the Krush Skate Park, 8059 W. 185th St., police said.
SUV BURGLARY: A leather bag containing $365 worth of goods was stolen Feb. 16 or 17 from a sport utility vehicle in the 8100 block of Edgebrook Lane.
MARIJUANA CHARGE: David Bustos, 18, 16449 Terry Lane, Oak Forest, was charged with possession of marijuana after being stopped Feb. 17 at James Street and Leslie Anne Drive, police said.
