On March 2 and 3, Tinley Park High School hosts its inaugural Prom Boutique, which sells gently used prom and homecoming dresses at deep discounts.
The sale, which will take place from 4-8 p.m. March 2 and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. March 3, is open to the public.
All the dresses will be sold on consignment with the sellers receiving 70 percent of their asking price.
The remaining 30 percent will be split among the school’s soccer team, volleyball team and library.
The school has collected many dresses already with prices ranging from $15 to $250 with original prices as high as $600.
School officials said they hope this sale will be a great opportunity for community members to sell their gently used dresses, high school students and parents to save tons on this year’s dress, and for the school to support their programs.
