Tinley Park police blotter

THEFTS: Two air conditioning units were stolen between March 28 and April 1 from Peoria Manufacturing, 17620 Duvan Drive.

THEFTS: An air conditioning compressor was stolen March 30 or 31 from Beyer Chiropractic, 17025 Harlem Ave. Six air conditioning units were stolen from the office April 1 or 2.

RETAIL THEFT: Precious Florence, 19, of Mobile, Ala., was charged with retail theft April 2 after stealing merchandise from Kohl’s, 7500 W. 191st St., police said.

STOLEN WALLET: A wallet was stolen April 3 from a customer at Dollar Tree, 16199 Harlem Ave.

THEFT: An air conditioning compressor was stolen between April 3 and 5 from a vacant building in the 17000 block of Oak Park Avenue.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Daniel E. Fernandes, 35, 7747 W. 167th St., Tinley Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license April 4 following a stop at 171st Street and Cambridge Place, police said.

LICENSE SUSPENDED: Andrew Sombraske, 21, 17911 Sayre Ave., Tinley Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a stop April 5 at 171st Street and Harlem Avenue, police said.

THEFT: Christian J. Anderson, 18, 17408 Queen Mary Lane, Tinley Park, was charged with theft April 6 after stealing a decorative landscaping rock from a house at 171st Street and Valley Drive, police said. Anderson told police he stole the rock to give to his girlfriend as a creative way of inviting her to prom.

DUI ARREST: Kenneth R. Walsh, 53, 1833 Regent St., New Lenox, was charged with drunken driving and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after he was stopped April 6 at 183rd Street and Harlem Avenue, police said.
