Tinley Park police blotter

TINLEY PARK

THEFT: A central air conditioning unit was stolen between May 9 and 16 from a house in the 6800 block of Sussex Road.

THEFT: $100 worth of instant lottery tickets were stolen May 10 from a Shell gas station, 17101 Harlem Ave.

CAR BURGLARY: Gift cards, clothing, makeup and prescription medications were stolen May 10 or 11 from a car in the 8100 block of 160th Street.

DUI ARREST: Michael H. Young, 28, 7435 Tiffany, Orland Park, was charged with drunken driving after being stopped May 11 at 170th Street and Oak Park Avenue, police said.

SUV THEFT: A Dodge Durango was stolen May 14 or 15 from Rizza Buick GMC, 8425 W. 159th St.

CAR BURGLARY: A purse was stolen May 15 from a car in the lot of Charter Fitness, 16010 Harlem Ave. A window was smashed to gain entry.

LICENSE SUSPENDED: Miguel A. Medina, 22, 9804 Albany, Evergreen Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and speeding in a school zone after a stop May 16 at 179th Street and 84th Avenue, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Daniel J. Ekert, 25, 2885 Horizon Trail, New Lenox, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug equipment after a May 16 stop at 183rd Street and Harlem Avenue, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Timothy Koval, 24, 18237 Eagle Drive, Tinley Park, was charged with retail theft May 16 after stealing alcohol from Super Kmart, 16300 Harlem Ave., police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Charmor Roller-Brown, 62, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance after May 16 after being stopped at 159th Street and 84th Avenue, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Tina Agelson, 36, 9301 W. 173rd Place, Tinley Park, was charged with retail theft May 17 after stealing electronic cigarettes from Border Tobacco, 8021 W. 183rd St., police said.

SUV BURGLARY: A leather purse was stolen May 21 from a sport utility vehicle in the lot of LA Fitness, 18400 Convention Center Drive.
