Walk at Lake Katherine benefits Crisis Center for South Suburbia

The Crisis Center for South Suburbia Auxiliary will host a fundraiser walk from 9 to 11 a.m. Aug. 4 at Lake Katherine Nature Preserve, 7402 Lake Katherine Drive, Palos Heights.
Check-in and registration are to begin at 8:30 a.m. The registration fee is $15. Children 12 and younger are free.
Raffle tickets for a variety of prizes will be for sale at the check-in table the morning of the event and will be $1 each or six for $5. Donations accepted, and are tax-deductible.
