A new leader has stepped forward to guide the Tinley Park-Frankfort Rotary Club for its 2013-14 year.

Jan Paul C. Ferrer, a Tinley Park resident, was installed recently as president of the club.

He replaces Margaret Semmer, a Mokena resident and parent of two students at Lincoln-Way East High School in Frankfort.

“I’m looking forward to engaging current and future members of the Tinley Park-Frankfort Rotary to help raise awareness about how Rotary helps change lives in awarding scholarships to high school seniors,” said Ferrer, a certified financial planner and chartered retirement planning counselor.

“Also, Rotary will collaborate with high school Interact clubs in performing community service projects.”

The club meets every Thursday at 7:30 a.m. at the Phoenix Hall of Lincoln-Way North High School, 19900 S. Harlem Avenue, Frankfort.
