Two pedestrians were injured, one critically, when they were struck by a vehicle on the Southwest Side Thursday morning.

About 7:14 a.m., the two were struck by a vehicle at 63rd Street and Pulaski Road.

Police did not immediately have any details on the incident other than one of the victims, a female, had an injury to her leg, and the other person was possibly pinned-in.

Both were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where one was in fair to serious condition and the other was in serious to critical condition, according to Fire Media Affairs.

The CTA’s No. 63 -- 63rd Street bus has been rerouted in both directions via 63rd Street, Oak Park Avenue, 65th Street, Harlem Avenue, and 63rd Street, following the accident.
