Chicago man fatally shot in Harvey

A Chicago man died early Sunday after being shot in Harvey, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Corey Manuel, 24, of the 9300 block of South Euclid Avenue in Chicago, was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn at 3:59 a.m., the medical examiner’s office said, adding that the preliminary cause of death was a gunshot wound.
The shooting occurred in Harvey, but an exact address was not immediately available, the medical examiner’s office said.
A spokeswoman for the Harvey Police did not return calls for comment.
