Police details on Harvey man shot dead in Calumet Park

A Harvey man died Monday night after being shot while driving a vehicle in Calumet Park.
Antonio Musgrove, 33, of the 14400 block of South Halsted Street in Harvey, was pronounced dead at MetroSouth Hospital in Blue Island at 10:33 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Musgrove was driving a vehicle at 10:10 p.m. at the intersection of 126th and Honore streets when someone on foot opened fire, striking him in both legs, Calumet Park police spokesman Gerard Corrigan said.
Musgrove continued driving and crashed into a light pole at Vermont and Page streets, about a half mile away.
The shooting is believed to be gang related, Corrigan said.
