Abby Foundation seeks award nominations

Applications for the Abby Foundation’s Woman of the Year award are being accepted until July 27, the organization said.

The award winners will be revealed at the Women Together Luncheon, scheduled for noon Aug. 17 at the Tinley Park Convention Center, 18501 S. Harlem Ave. in Tinley Park.
The luncheon, sponsored in part by the SouthtownStar, will be co-hosted by Valerie Warner, of ABC-7’s “Windy City Live.” Tickets can be bought online by visiting www.abbyfoundation.org.
The Abby Foundation is a Southland-based organization that raises money to help women and their children and to fund scholarships for women.
