A man who had his right leg amputated below the knee after his car and a Pace bus collided in Lockport is suing the suburban bus service and one of its drivers.
William Hickey Jr. was driving north on Route 171 in Lockport when a southbound Pace bus made a left turn off Route 171 and hit his car, according to the suit filed Thursday in Cook County Circuit Court.
The two-count suit seeks $100,000 and court costs.
A spokesman for Pace declined to comment on the suit.
