Bank robbed in Morgan Park community

The FBI on Monday was investigating an armed robbery of the First American Bank at 11821 S. Western Ave. in Chicago’s Morgan Park community.
A man with a silver revolver entered the bank after 9:30 a.m. and announced a robbery, the FBI said. He received an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the bank on foot, the FBI said.
No one was injured.
The suspect is described as 5-foot-10 to 5-11, and wearing dark clothing, a dark cap and sunglasses, the alert said. His head was covered with a black cloth.
