Free senior health fair Wednesday in Lemont

A free senior health fair is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday (Aug. 15) at the Lemont Park District’s Core Fitness Center, 16028 W. 127th St. in Lemont.
There will be free health screenings to assess hearing, grip strength and balance assessment, and to check blood pressure. Information will be available on a variety of topics including transportation and assisted living options, home and fire safety, and financial security, including how to save money on utilities.
Representatives from the state treasurer’s office will help guests determine whether they have unclaimed money or assets to recover.
Refreshments will be provided.
