Motorcyclist hurt in crash on ramp to LaGrange from I-80

A motorcyclist suffered minor injuries Friday morning after he ditched his bike on the exit ramp from westbound Interstate 80 to LaGrange Road, Illinois State Police said.
The unidentified cyclist told police a vehicle cut him off, forcing him into the ditch.
He was transported to Silver Cross Hospital for stitches, with minor injuries to his head and a swollen eye, Trooper Stacy Eschmann said.
The accident, which occurred at 10:19 a.m., caused traffic to back up on the ramp.
No information on the other vehicle was available.
