New Lenox man killed in crash near Wilmington

A New Lenox man died Monday after his car crashed into a ditch near Wilmington in Will County.
Robert A. Tyssen, 59, was driving on Kavanaugh Road when his vehicle left the roadway about a half mile south of Lorenzo Road and went into a ditch, according to the Will County coroner’s office.
Tyssen was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:10 p.m., according to the coroner’s office.
Will County sheriff’s police were investigating the accident.
