Lockport Township High School Board seeks new member

The Lockport Township High School District is accepting applications from candidates interested in filling a school board vacancy until the April 9 general election.

The vacancy was created when board member Susan Forbes moved out of the district.

Resumes will be accepted until noon Sept. 14 at the district’s Administrative Center, 1232 E. Seventh St. Resumes may be submitted in person or via email to gmickulas@lths.org.

To be eligible for consideration, a candidate must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old, a registered voter and a resident of the district for at least a year. Interested parties also cannot be a child sex offender.
