Flu shots available at Frankfort Township

The Frankfort/Mokena TRIAD will host its annual flu shot/health fair from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Frankfort Township office, 11000 W. U.S. 30.
Walgreens Pharmacy will be on hand to provide free flu shots for seniors who are Medicaid patients and Medicare Part B patients. Flu shots are $25.99 for everyone else.
Other vaccinations that will be available include shingles, pneumonia and DTap (whooping cough). Free screenings will include diabetes, blood pressure, BMI, and fall risk assessments.
The event also includes health and safety vendors and free refreshments.
