Chicago Heights man shot to death in Chicago’s South Side

A Chicago Heights man was shot to death in Chicago’s Woodlawn community Tuesday morning.
The man, identified by the Cook County medical examiner’s office as Marlon Lee, 36, was shot about 10 a.m. in the 6100 block of South Woodlawn Avenue, police said.
Lee suffered gunshot wounds to the lower back and buttocks, police said.
Lee, of the 300 block of West Hickory Street in Chicago Heights, was pronounced dead at Northwestern Memorial Hospital at 10:45 a.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.
