A man wearing a Freddy Krueger mask held up a gas station in Frankfort Township early Wednesday.
Will County sheriff’s police said just before 2 a.m. the bandit came into Circle K, 7654 Lincoln Highway, showed the clerk a black handgun and demanded all the money in the register.
The cashier put the money into a black bag the robber had put on the counter and the robber fled. The employee was not injured.
Besides the horror movie mask, the suspect was wearing a black jacket, pants and gloves.
