New Lenox website seeks input on U.S. 30 project

The village of New Lenox is encouraging residents to go online to share their thoughts on the development of U.S. 30.
Residents can visit www.newlenox.net and click on “Route 30 Corridor Plan” to access questionnaires, development maps, land-use maps, project news, workshop schedules and more.
Community involvement on the site is important, Trustee Annette Bowden said.
Residents are able to leave comments on the site, and a consulting firm is able to compile all the comments received, Director of Community Development Robin Ellis told the village board Monday.
