Man fatally shot in Blue Island

A man died Thursday after being shot at his home.
Donovan Bearden, 27, of the 3100 block of 141st Place in Blue Island, was taken to MetroSouth Medical Center in Blue Island, where he was pronounced dead at 7:05 a.m. Thursday, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Blue Island police did not immediately have a comment.
