Ohio man, 53, accused of having sex with Palos Heights boy

Bail was set at $200,000 Tuesday for a 53-year-old Ohio man charged with having sex with an underage Palos Heights boy.
David H. Six, of Sheffield Lakes, was arrested Monday by Palos Heights detectives outside a hotel in Burr Ridge after a yearlong investigation, police said. He was charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse and having harmful materials.
Six is next due in court in front of Judge Patrick Rogers on Dec. 18 at the Bridgeview courthouse.
Police learned of the situation when the victim’s mother came forward in December after she became aware of Six’s relationship with her son. Detectives found that Six made sexually explicit videos and images of himself and then sent them to the boy.
Police said Six traveled from Ohio to the Chicago area on numerous occasions and had sex with the boy.
The Cook County state’s attorney’s office and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations Unit aided in the investigation.
