Indiana woman dies after crash in Alsip

ALSIP -- An Indiana woman died Friday morning after an accident occurred in Alsip, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
The accident happened near 127th Street and Cicero Avenue, the medical examiner’s office said.
Margeau Phipps, 53, of the 12500 block of Stark Court in St. John, Ind., died from her injuries at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn at 9:52 a.m., the medical examiner’s office said.
Officials with the Alsip police and fire departments did not immediately return calls Friday night.
